The Motor Racing Heritage Association was incorporated July 22, 1994 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Presently MRHA functions as a 501-C3 non-profit Corporation.

Its' founders dedicated the organization to the “preservation and promotion of the history of racing on the World’s Most Famous Beach”.

Today, the members of Motor Racing Heritage Association remain committed to this purpose and to supporting those organizations which carry forth the tradition of racing today.

From the beginning there were two major objectives:  To identify locations in Volusia County that are of interest to racing enthusiasts, and to maintain a calendar of activities related to racing’s past and present.  Our first objective has been completed in fine style with the publication of the
Motor Racing History Map. This full color brochure is now in its fourth printing.

Currently, the Associations' project is to bring the map to life with a corresponding video, due to be released in 2016.

Area racing activities are discussed at our meetings and a calendar is maintained by the Secretary.  Meetings are noon luncheon meetings on the second Monday of each month at various locations. The public and guests are invited. Call 386-871-5001 for location.

In addition to these accomplishments, MRHA has been the sanctioning and presenting body for the Historic Beach Time Trials which replicate the early Land Speed Record attempts on Ormond Beach, as well as the builder of the Ormond Garage replica at the Ormond Beach 'Birthplace of Speed Park' which MRHA also helped establish.

We represent a broad range of motor racing interests, and hope you will want to join us.
